Here we go again, I know I’m a pain

Dear mum I'm afraid I’m struggling once again

I know you you’ve got scrabble and you're out to have tea

But I wish you could come and see to poor me

His tummy has been hurting, he’s been clenching his cheeks

And for 3 hours on end he’s been screaming for weeks.

Today I was tired and couldn’t get up

Rich said good bye but seemed rather fed up

Couldn’t sit up and kiss him good bye!

My eyes wouldn’t open.. and I didn’t know why

I must remember... to raise his cot rails

But recently mum... I’ve been feeling quite frail

It’s been on my list but I must have forgot

He escaped the Mother-care... that cot that we got

Before I knew it, he had climbed in the sink!

I heard a cat howling and I jumped up...in a blink

There was steam round his shoulders! ...the hot tap was on.

Heaven forbid... he had ...polyester clothes on

I lifted him out.. and put him... in the bath

Showered him cold ..like a mad psychopath

He was purple and red by the time I was done

And shivering like jelly, it wasn’t much fun

Could you come round.. and may be take him for a walk?

There’s a few calls to make and I could do with a talk

I need to get the bottom of what’s going on

and the bathroom door needs a lock not made of Boron!
